Triple N Ranch Winery

Triple N Ranch Winery is pleased to showcase three generations of Texas heritage through our ranch and winery. We are proud to bring wines that capture the spirit and the sophistication of the Texas ranch lifestyle.

The Triple N Ranch Winery brand is named for Nan Creel, the matriarch of the Ranch and Winery Family, her daughter, Nan Michelle, and her daughter, Nan Christina. The senior Nan started raising purebred Texas Longhorns in the ’80’s at her Henderson County ranch. In 2020, Nan Michelle opened the Triple N Ranch Winery, specializing in high quality Texas wines. They are excited to offer a multi-generational Texas-women owned and operated East Texas winery showcasing the best Texas grown grapes and wines.

Meet Nan Michelle Anderson

The Visionary Behind Triple N Ranch Winery

New to the Texas wine industry, but a lifelong wine enthusiast, Nan Michelle Anderson owns and operates the Triple N Ranch Winery. With a passion for wines and a history of visiting vineyards around the world, Michelle has turned her dream into reality in the heart of East Texas.

A Blend of Expertise and Passion
Michelle’s journey into winemaking is backed by her formal education in Viticulture & Enology from Grayson College. She combines this education with over 30 years of volunteer experience, bringing a wealth of knowledge in business management, marketing, event planning, and public relations. Her ability to adapt and diversify her skillset with changing trends is complemented by her commitment to community outreach, sponsorship, and collaboration.

Deep Texas Roots
As an 8th generation Texan and the only girl among eight brothers, Michelle’s childhood was filled with trips across the great state of Texas, especially to the beloved Hill Country. Now, as an adult, mother, and grandmother, she cherishes her time spent with her mother on the family’s longhorn ranch, which boasts a below ground 2,000-bottle cellar.

The Birth of Triple N Ranch Winery
When the opportunity arose to build Triple N Ranch Winery, Michelle took the bull by the horns (pun intended) and created a welcoming space in the heart of the property. She converted a 30-year-old barn and planted vines, establishing a unique, rustic environment perfect for enjoying handcrafted wines.

As Ranch Steward, Vineyard Manager, and Winery Ambassador, Jayden York wears many hats at Triple N Ranch Winery. He works closely with Fritz Westover at the Viticulture Academy and our winemakers at Sage Vintage to keep the vineyard thriving, while also tending to the longhorn herd, their offspring, and the daily demands of ranch life—from mending fences to maintaining equipment. Jayden’s hands-on dedication bridges the ranch’s heritage with the winery’s future, ensuring guests experience the best of both.

Dr. Richard S. Anderson brings a legacy of dedication, expertise, and a deep connection to family to Triple N Ranch Winery. With over 37 years of distinguished service at Presbyterian Hospital Dallas/Texas Health, Dr. Anderson is a pillar in both the medical and local community. His unwavering commitment to excellence is mirrored in his support for the winery, where his insight and passion contribute to the continued success and innovation at Triple N Ranch. After a lifetime of chemistry courses leading to his career as a surgeon, Dr. Anderson joined Michelle and their son Richard in taking Enology classes at Grayson College, expanding his knowledge and involvement in the tasting room, as well as the legal and business aspects of winemaking. As he plans to conclude his medical career in the next three years, Dr. Anderson’s vision, along with his love for family and tradition, plays an integral role in the heart of the winery.

Texan by birth, Italian by marriage, Richard Anderson embodies the fusion of two vibrant cultures in both his personal and professional life. A graduate of Vanderbilt University, he embarked on a unique journey that led him to the picturesque vineyards of Verona, Italia, where he spent three enriching years while pursuing his graduate degree. Immersed in the artistry of winemaking, Richard cultivated a deep appreciation for the nuanced complexities of fine wine. His time in Italy provided him with invaluable hands-on experience, honing his palate and deepening his understanding of the intricate processes that produce exceptional varietals. Upon returning to the United States, Richard furthered his education by earning his MBA from the University of Dallas, refining his business acumen and strategic vision. Now, as a pivotal member of the Triple N brand, Richard brings with him a wealth of knowledge and passion for Italian wines. With his unique perspective and expertise, he eagerly anticipates the opportunity to introduce a captivating array of Italian varietals to the Triple N portfolio, enriching the brand’s offerings and delighting wine enthusiasts throughout North Texas.

Mike Dimas is a native Texan – born and raised in Dallas. His culinary career began in a boutique catering company and grew from there. Working in restaurants and hotels from Dallas to Santa Barbara, Santa Fe and San Antonio, Mike gathered knowledge and honed his culinary perspective. Blending the simplicity of California cuisine with the flavors of the Southwest and bold flavors of the Lone Star State, Mike’s food is both visually appealing and soulfully satisfying. The opportunity at Triple N offers Mike another area to expand his horizons by producing food that enhances and enriches the wine tasting experience.
